Gestalt Project

Project: Gestalt Principles
Class: 2D Design
Deliverables: 20×20 black, white, and gray composition depicting the Gestalt principles.
Date: Spring Semester 2018

Objective: This project is to show the understanding of the gestalt principles, and how they can be used to create visually interesting works of art.

Description: For this project, using black, white, and gray paper, I created different compositions that represented the different gestalt principles. Then, I took my compositions and combined them with another persons compositions, and took pictures of the different combinations we made using each others compositions. Using the pictures, I then took them into Photoshop and began to lay them out on a 20×20 canvas, where I created the final composition.
